The programmes are designed and conducted by Kavita Joshi since 2001; under the banner of Impulse Filmmaking Workshops. I. DISCOVER FILM CRAFT (4 WEEKS IN SUMMER)
If you're curious about filmmaking, this hands-on workshop helps
you to explore the basic principles behind the craft and greatly improves your ability to shoot. With an easy pace, it is ideal for students; for people in the NGO sector; the academic community; visual artists; and others. It is also a great option for outstation candidates.

II. COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAMME IN FILMMAKING (WEEKENDS)
An intensive programme aimed at people who'd like to learn how to make
a film from concept to completion. From the first day, you get hands-on training
in camerawork. You develop your ideas and script them. You grasp the basics of light, sound, editing and more. You then make a short film - fiction or documentary. The entire process is
guided and mentored by filmmakers.• Sessions held on Weekends only
• Esp. aimed at working persons.
• Suitable both for beginners and people with some experience.

• Suitable for beginners, esp. aimed at students
An accelerated filmmaking programme aimed at students and full time participants. Held every summer, this programme introduces participants to the basics of direction and filmmaking; and culminates in the making of short films. Simultaneously, the participants get hands on training in camerawork, sound, editing etc. The entire process is mentored by filmmakers.
WE WILL NOT BE OFFERING THIS PROGRAMME IN 2012.
