In mid-June 2020, we will be offering a Summer Programme in Documentary Filmmaking.
Details will be put up by 1 March 2020, but here are the key points:
We will cover the essentials of making a documentary, from sequencing to interview skills, from narrative structure to ethical concerns, and more. The programme will be very hands-on, and you will learn through a series of practical exercises of increasing complexity. This will culminate in participants making a documentary in small teams.
Sessions will be conducted by Kavita Joshi and other filmmakers.
Equipment will be provided.
Study materials will be provided.
Fee for the 1 month full-time programme is expected to be around INR 40K inclusive of equipment, study materials and copies of the final project. The exact amount will be announced later.

- Duration 4 weeks. Full time programme, not weekends based.
- Timings 10 am to 6/7 pm daily.
- On an average, you will work with us 4 days a week, and for 2 days you will have assignments and study materials to cover.
- Venue: Hauz Khas or Kalkaji.
