Workshop Film Wins Three Awards
Our workshop production, All That Glitters won three awards at the student film competition at NSIT, Delhi University. Made by the batch of 2012, All That Gliiters won the awards for Best Direction, Best Film, and Best Actress. A big shout out to the whole team, the actors and everyone who supported this film.

Workshop Film showing at SIGNS Kerala
Our workshop film, Best Foot Forward will be screening at the SIGNS film festival 2013, in Thiruvanthapuram, Kerala. Signs is a pioneering film festival for short fiction and documentaries and its an honour for our student film to be screened there. Congratulations to the team, the actors and everyone who supported them!

Workshop Films Screening in Mumbai
Films made by the participants of our filmmaking workshops will soon be screened in Mumbai, as part of Cinema Satsang, a five-day film festival by the Katha Centre for Film Studies in collaboration with India Foundation for the Arts (IFA). The films are being shown as part of the student films selection curated by Allan Ritchie.
The festival will screen 20 other films including features, short films and documentaries. It is supported and will be held 21-25 February 2011 at the Alliance Franciase auditorium, New Marine Lines between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Entry Free.
The Impulse Filmmaking Workshops films will be screened from 11 am to 1 pm on 25th February 2011.

INTENSIVE PROGRAMMES IN FILMMAKING
Held in Delhi. Regn. opens 23 March.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE NOT REQUIRED
WEEKEND OPTIONS FOR WORKING PEOPLE
THE PROGRAMMES FOR 2010 ARE:
• INTENSIVE SUMMER PROGRAMME IN FILMMAKING
300+hrs, full time. Late-May to mid-July 2010.
Suitable for beginners, esp. aimed at students
Introduces participants to the basics of direction and filmmaking; and culminates in the making of short films. Simultaneously, the participants get hands on training in camerawork, sound, editing etc. The entire process is mentored by filmmakers.

• WEEKENDS PROGRAMME IN FILMMAKING
450+ hrs, weekends based. Early-July to mid-Dec 2010.
Suitable for beginners, esp. working persons
Helps participants make short films (fiction or documentary). In the process, participants grasp the essentials of filmcraft – scripting, storyboarding etc (if fiction), or idea development, interview techniques etc (if documentary). Simultaneously, they get hands-on training in camerawork, sound, editing etc. The entire process is mentored by filmmakers.

For organisations / institutions / teams / groups of individuals who need targeted and customised training.

The programmes are principally conducted by Kavita Joshi, an independent filmmaker based in Delhi and an alumnus of FTII Pune. Other filmmakers also provide specialised inputs and training.

Filmmaking Programmes for 2010: Coming Up!
We'll soon be announcing our filmmaking programmes and workshops for the year 2010. These include our regular annual programmes like the
